They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder. In this message Pastor Jeremy talked about some of the reasons why, but have you personally ever experienced this to be true? Why do you think it’s the case?
In Exodus 16, the people grumble against Moses for bringing them out into the wilderness to die. What is Moses response? Does he take this personally? Does Moses’ response to the people have implications for how grumbling or complaining works in your life?

As a way of combating grumbling, we are called to fix our eyes on Christ, the author and perfecter of our salvation. Pastor Jeremy called us to consider Jesus. He said that eternity is the measure of His (Christ’s) gift. John 6:47-51. How does this steer your eyes away from yourself and onto Jesus? How can your Life Group pray for you to see Christ more clearly this week?
