Consider these questions when reflecting on this message:

1. What was your first experience with death? How did you process it?

2. Have you ever thought about dealing with your sin as a "putting to death"?

3. Of all the sins that Paul could have focused on, why do you think he focuses on sexual sin?
   Colossians 3:5-7

4. Of all the sins that Paul could have focused on, why do you think he focused on "sins of the tongue"? 
   Colossians 3:8-9

5. How are each of these categories of sins uniquely destructive?

6. Have you ever been a part of a community that was torn apart because of speech? Slander? Anger?

7. Review John Owens 3 points on what killing sin is. How can you put these into practice in the killing of your own sin?
