The Mysteries of the Kingdom // The Joy of Sacrifice - Matthew 13: 44-46

February 16, 2025

1. What do you most readily and easily spend your money on? When do you find it most difficult to part from your money?

2. What are the similarities between the Treasure and the Pearl parables? Do you see yourself in these parables?

3. The Apostle Paul was on track for wealth, success and prestige in his culture. What happened to him? How did he view his past life? How did he show he valued Christ and His kingdom above all else? (Philippians 3:7-11)

4. See Ephesians 5:31-32 and Revelation 19:7-8. Why does God say our relationship to Christ is like a marriage? What does that call for?

5. Discipleship is costly and seeing the supreme value of the kingdom often gets buried in the circumstances of our every day lives. How will prayer and study help you? How does gathering with fellow saints help you?
