Consider these questions when reflecting on this message:

1. What is your favorite season and why?

2. In Psalm 74:20 Asaph appeals to God on the basis of God's covenant to intervene on behalf of His people. (  Exodus 34 )

   Which covenant does Asaph reference?

   What did God promise in this covenant?

   What were the people responsible for within the covenant?

3. What is the nature of Shalom - peace.

4. In Psalm 76:7  Asaph asks,  “Who can stand before you , when you (God) are angry?” What will arouse God's anger?

5. What caused the loss of Shalom and how was it restored?

6. Have you experienced the loss of that inner sense of calm and what was the pathway to its restoration?

7. On what basis can Christians experience Shalom?  ( John 14:27)

8. What would be some ways to help remember God's faithfulness in your life, your family's life and in your faith community?
