Meeting God In Genesis: God Is Not Unjust // Pastor Marcus Moreira

February 1, 2026

Read Genesis 8:1-9:1
Consider these questions when reflecting on this message:

  1. So far Genesis has told us much about who God is. For you, what was the most remarkable teaching so far?
(God the Creator/ Transcendent and Personal/ Who Remains Faithful/ Merciful Judge Exodus 34/ God is Unchanging/ God is not indifferent/ God of Mercies.

  2. Ordinary Time can be challenging. What part of the life of Faith do you struggle with most during the seasons of Ordinary Time?

  3. Thanksgiving is an important part of how we are called to live our lives. (Colossians 3:16-17, 1 Thessalonians 5:14-18)
How have you incorporated thanksgiving in your Ordinary Time? Is Thanksgiving a particular challenge for yourself?

  4. God is Not Unjust. How does this concept challenge or expand how you see God?

  5. Can you think of practical ways you can reflect the character of God (Not Unjust) in your Ordinary Time?
