READ MARK 9:30-50

  1. Who or what has most shaped your character? Where can you see Jesus currently challenging or reshaping those influences?

  2. Jesus defines greatness through serving those who may offer nothing in return. Who is someone you could intentionally serve this week, and what practical action could you take?

  3. Where are you most tempted to compare yourself with others or seek recognition? How could you use your abilities to encourage and elevate someone else instead?

  4. The disciples rejected someone because he was not part of their group. When are you tempted to become tribal, exclusive, or overly critical of Christians who do things differently? What would “theological hospitality” look like in that situation?

  5. Jesus warns against causing “little ones” to stumble. How might your words, attitudes, or actions either weaken or strengthen the faith of children, new believers, or those who are spiritually vulnerable?

  6. Jesus calls his disciples to take sin seriously, live as sacrifices, and be at peace with one another. What attitude, habit, or unresolved conflict do you need to bring before God—and what concrete step will you take this week?
