Read Mark 3:7-19
Consider these questions when reflecting on this message:

1. Opener
   What do you find most interesting about the lists of disciples?

2. Called and Desired
   Jesus “called those whom he desired” before they ever accomplished anything for him. How does knowing that Jesus calls you out of desire—not usefulness or performance—change how you see your relationship with God right now?

3. Coming to Him
   The disciples responded to Jesus’ call by coming to him. What competes for your attention or allegiance that can make it harder for you to actively “come to him” in your daily life? What might obedience look like for you this week?

4. Called First to Be with Jesus
   Before being sent, the disciples were called simply to be with Jesus. In your current season of life, what helps you intentionally be with Jesus—and what most often pulls you away? What is one realistic change you could make to prioritize presence with him?

5. Created, Not Just Chosen
   Jesus didn’t just select the Twelve; he “made” them into something new. Where do you most need to trust Jesus to form or remake you rather than trying to improve yourself through effort alone?

6. Named and Sent
   Jesus gives his followers both identity (being named and known) and mission (being sent). Which of these do you personally struggle with more—believing you are truly known by God, or living sent into the everyday places of your life? Why?
