  • While you're planning your summer activities be sure to save August 10 - 15 for our Ness week at Gimli Bible Camp.  There is a sign up form belowwhere you can see what the different serving opportunities are and indicate where you would like to serve during our Ness camp week.

  • Please send your e-transfer donations to: donate@nessbaptist.com. Please include your contact details in the notes section of the e-transfer to ensure we are able to send you your charitable tax receipt. If you have given before, you can also include your envelope number.

  • Are you in our Ness directory? It is a great way to get or stay connected to our Ness family. See Jan Ellison in the foyer after church or email her at jan@nessbaptist.com to provide your information.

  • We are excited to begin the New City Catechism readings in our services this year. These congregational readings are designed to teach us theological truths. Each reading builds on the previous. The readings will get us thinking and talking about each truth. If you have questions, that’s good! Please don’t hesitate to grab one of our leaders to chat about any of the catechisms. There are great resources available on their website as well

Please Pray for our Ness Missionaries:

Samuel [Samie] Mwendwa came to Canada from Kenya in 2017.He directs the YFC Wpg. Soccer program. Over 300 youth attend each year. Many are refugees from war torn countries and from Islamic backgrounds. The program aims to initiate meaningful conversations about faith and provide mentorship as these men establish new lives in Canada.

  • Pray for additional dedicated volunteers who will contribute their time and skills to youth development.

  • Pray that YFC soccer will continue to support newcomers to Winnipeg fostering community and a sense of belonging.

  • Pray that youth from Muslim backgrounds would be receptive to the Gospel.

  • Pray that youth and parents would recognize the positive impact of the soccer program and be supportive.

  • Pray that there would be new financial supporters to help sustain and grow the YFC soccer program.

  • Pray that many will hear the Gospel and accept the Lord’s message of mercy, grace and salvation.

Helping Hands every 2nd Thursday at 9:30 am  (Sept-May)
Helping hands is a group of ladies who meet for quilting, sewing, crocheting, knitting and fellowship.

Lifegroups @ Ness (Sept-May)
Lifegroups are groups of men and women that meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm.  Prayer is an important part of lifegroups as well as they take time to pray for and encourage one another.   If you are interested please contact the office and we will connect you with a group that works for you.
