Our worship time begins with an opportunity for giving and to thank God for all He has provided for us.
Giving in person lets everyone take part and also models the practice of tithing to our children.
Individuals who wish to give in person should include your name and address on your envelope so a number can be assigned to you. Tax receipts are sent in January following the calendar year.

Each week we read a congregational reading together.
This week the leader will read the question:
“How is the Word of God to be read and heard?”
We will read the answer together:
“With diligence, preparation, and prayer; so that we may accept it with faith, store it in our hearts, and practice it in our lives”
This response to how we read and hear God’s word, is encouraged with the words of Psalm 119:10–11 that we will read together:
“With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

Last week Pastor Jeremy reminded us that no matter what storms we may be facing, the healthy fear of God, surmounts the fear of the storm. We can place our confidence in Him even while the storm may cause us to fear.

This week, Pastor Marcus will be leading our KidZone kids in a special gospel focused story, and then our KidZone team has a special time planned for our kids to celebrate the year behind them and to wish our Grade 5s well as they move into Ness Youth this fall.

CHILD DEDICATIONS
Psalm 127:3 says “Children are a gift from the Lord”. Child Dedications are an opportunity to thank God for the blessing of children, to recognize and commit this gift to His care, and to commit to raising our children in His ways, with the help of our church family. The church also joins in this commitment to love, support, and pray for the children of our Ness community.

💁♂️ HELP WANTED FOR KIDZONE THIS SUMMER
We are looking for volunteers to teach/help in our summer kidzone program. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, or if you would like more information, please email/text Candace Dunsire.
🪑VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR EVENT SETUP
Our team we love to call the “Muscle Crew” could really use some extra hands for event setup. It’s usually a very quick task to setup or tear down but as the saying goes — “Many hands make light work”. If this is a way you can serve, speak to Jon Chapman or email the office to get connected.
🎤 THE AUDIO/VISUAL TEAM IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
This team could use a couple more people to join the rotation. If this is something you feel God might be calling you to serve in, please speak to Krista Antonio and/or Jordan Dalzell. Also, plan to attend the Worship Gathering June 19th if you can, as it is an ongoing expectation for those who participate in Worship ministry to attend these events, held 3-4 times a year.
🧵HELPING HANDS
Most Life Groups are now on break for the summer, and will resume in the fall. If you’re not sure if your group is still meeting, speak to your host. If you are not currently in a life group, scan the QR to sign up, or email the office to get connected in a Life Group this fall. Life Groups are a great way to grow in faith through fellowship with other believers in your church family. If you’d like to host a group in the fall, this form includes those opportunities as well. We’d love to hear from you. A special thank you to all of our current Life Group Hosts and Leaders, as well!
Helping Hands has paused until fall. This group meets on Thursdays bi-weekly for coffee, fellowship & crafting. Bring a project or join in on quilt making projects supporting local groups in need. Contact Debbie Giesbrecht or the office to connect for the fall.

Join the Ness Worship Team Members as we spend time in worship, talk through and/or play through something that we are working on, or want to work on as a team, and most importantly, fellowship as a group which helps us to become a better team as we work together to lead the congregation all for the purpose of glorifying our God. Of course, “Jam” themed refreshments will be served. Bring your instruments, if you wish to “jam-along”. All are welcome —No RSVP needed! Email worship@nessbaptist.com if you have questions.
